We encourage you to come in and take a tour of our facility, no appointment is necessary. The paperwork is minimal but must be filled out prior to your pet’s stay.
We recommend a trial visit for your pet before his/her stay with us. We assess your pet’s behavior in the kennel atmosphere; establish what play group they will take part in and their overall attitude toward our employees. This is free of charge.
We only serve super premium dog food to our boarders, however some dogs don’t do well with any changes in their diets, so we do encourage you to bring your pets food from home in a container with a lid and have their names on the container. Treats are welcomed; we try to make this as close to home as possible so if they are used to certain amenities at home please feel free to accommodate your pet while they are in our care.
We ask that personal items such as bedding or toys not be brought in; we supply all bedding for your pet. The bedding is laundered frequently.
REQUIRED BEFORE YOUR DOG CAN BOARD/DACYCARE
Certification from a veterinarian is required from each of our guests before admittance can be allowed. If your pet requires an updated vaccination please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than 10 days before any boarding is scheduled.
** BOARDING/DAYCARE PLAY**
NOT ALL DOGS CAN BE IN A GROUP PLAY ENVIRONMENT. IF YOUR DOG IS NOT SPAYED/NEUTERED BY 10 MONTHS THEY MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY IN GROUP PLAY OR DAYCARE. IF YOUR DOG SHOWS SIGNS OF AGGRESSION
THEY WILL WE PLAYED WITH AS A SINGLE.
PEAK SEASON RATES
Due to increased demand and labor costs during the holidays, we will be implementing a $2/night price adjustment per pet during the following peak holiday times:
Thanksgiving Week: Sunday-Sunday
Christmas & New Year: Sunday-Sunday
Independence Day Week: Sunday-Sunday
Spring Break Week: Sunday – Sunday
Ameripet Hotel & Pet Center requires a 2 DAY cancellation notice on all Non-Holiday Boarding reservations. Failure to properly cancel can result in a fee equal to 2 Nights Stay of the run you reserved. Special consideration will of course be given to emergency situations. Please be kind to us, and we’ll do the same in return. We understand things can change.
Our cancellation policy on HOLIDAY BOARDING will be
3 DAYS. Failure to do so can result in a fee equal to a $85 deposit for the room reserved.
Holiday Boarding will require a deposit on file.
If booking for the Thanksgiving or Christmas Holiday, or 4th of July, a minimum of a 3-night stay will be required.
